  • Beschrijving: In 1900, an aristocratic young woman, Eftychia Notara, visits with her father the family fields at the Cheli a place in Ermioni. There she meets and falls in love with their confidant Tasos Lygkos, an upstanding man whose sister Lenio loves the rich Kitsos. When the relationship of the two young men becomes known, Lygkos asks Kitsos to marry his sister, otherwise he will be forced to kill him. Another young woman Diamanto, who is also in love with Kitsos, becomes the cause of his death. Lygkos is accused of his murder and has to flee to the mountains. After some time, when he is surrounded by the police, the revelation of the truth will save his life, but he will not be able to marry Eftychia. Her father’s strong objections and the love of another woman, Astero, will make Eftychia leave his life for ever and return to Athens.
